I created Cam’s Urban Farm on a whim in the beginning of 2023 as a platform to share my explorations in the fascinating world of mushrooms. What started as a hobby had become more of an obsession, and producing videos and guides on mushroom cultivation and extraction seemed like the perfect outlet to express my excitement. 

But I soon got the feeling that I had more to share, and decided I wanted my local community to experience the wonders of mushrooms and mushroom extracts for themselves. Later that same year, in a rapid series of well-timed events, I found myself without a job — and, by extension, with the perfect opportunity to turn mushrooms into a full-time gig. I began selling functional mushroom extracts from my basement, and the rest is history. 

In 2024, I decided to move out of the basement and into a warehouse in Queens, with the goal of providing fresh, local gourmet mushrooms to the people of NYC. Now, Cam’s Urban Farm seeks to inspire culinary exploration, reconnect New Yorkers with their food, and promote health and wellness by producing the highest quality gourmet mushrooms and functional mushroom extracts from the most densely populated city in America!
